Jeff Erickson
Meet Jeff Erickson, Vice Chair for the VCDC Board of Directors!
Jeff has been in Vermillion for seventeen years, collectively. He also fell victim to the “Vermillion Vortex” and after having moved from Vermillion in 1997, he returned in 2009 and has been here ever since.
Jeff is the CEO of Erickson Solutions Group (ESG), a technology management provider for small and medium-sized businesses. ESG has offices in Overland Park, KS and in Vermillion, SD. He has served on the VCDC Board of Directors since 2016 and is currently serving on both the Finance and Executive Committees for the Board. He previously served on the Tourism committee.
He and his wife Barb both attended USD from 1992 to 1997 where they met and then moved to Kansas City. They returned to Vermillion in 2009. Jeff’s work experience ranges from a Fortune 500 company (Beverly Enterprises, Ft. Smith, AR) to a start-up consulting company (DCR, St. Louis, MO). His most recent position before going out on his own was as Director of Information Technology for Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, which achieved a rating among the Top Ten Children’s Hospitals nationwide during his tenure.
