Vermillion's Favorite Summer Music Series
Thursdays On The Platz is six weeks of local live music. Every Thursday in July and August features a band downtown at the Ratingen Platz, a central plaza named after our sister city in Germany. The exception to the rule is the second Thursday in August, where the series heads to the Clay County Fair. Each week features a brewery at the beer tent and local food vendors. A variety of community businesses, groups and organizations set up at Thursdays on the Platz with activities and opportunities to connect. Kids can enjoy bouncy houses, chalk, water tables, and lawn games. On especially hot days, we'll even open up a fire hydrant! Every week brings different activities and vendors, so follow us on social media to stay up to date!
