Vermillion is prioritizing safe travel and when you’re ready to travel, we’re ready for you.

Vermillion offers a small-town feel with big-time activities. Home to an endless number of unique offerings that you can’t find anywhere else. Nestled along the banks of the Missouri River, Vermillion delivers no shortage of arts, culture, history, and heritage to explore. Visitors are sure to discover many reasons to #LOVermillion.

The Vermillion community has implemented hygiene, health, and safety protocols to keep you and your families safe while you are here. South Dakota and Vermillion do not have any travel restrictions in place, however, our City strongly encourages mask-wearing when indoors or in larger social gatherings. If you have any questions or concerns about your trip, we encourage you to contact us before your arrival.

Friends,
The Rural Electric Economic Development (REED) Fund recently became aware of some funds that have been set aside by the Small Business administration to provide assistance to Restaurants and Bars. The SBA has asked for assistance in getting the word out to restaurants with 2019 gross receipts of not more than $50,000.  The funding set-aside of $500M has substantial funds available and SBA is encouraging these eligible small business owners to apply for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF).
Here is the RRF website with more information and the link to apply Restaurant Revitalization Fund (sba.gov).
Anything you can do to let these business owners know that help may still be available is appreciated.
Thanks
