Leslie Gerrish
Meet VCDC Board of Directors member, Leslie Gerrish!
Leslie has lived in Vermillion for the past five years. She and her husband Ed have two daughters, Clare (3) and Ceci (2). They also have two furry kids – their dogs Monty and Nelson.
She is one of the co-owners of The Bean Community Coffeehouse. She is also an event planner. She works as a contractor for multiple firms to plan and execute events all over the world. She’s done event planning in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors her entire career. Leslie is an avid runner, having run countless half marathons, 3 marathons and trained for 4. Despite co-owning a coffee shop, she only has 1 (or maybe 2) cups of coffee a day. She and her husband adopted their daughter Clare, and when she was four days old, Leslie found out she was pregnant. Their children are only 8 months apart.
She has served on the VCDC Board of Directors for 1.5 years and currently sits on the Special Events Committee.
